If you’re trying to work out what your network charges to call the Isle of Man, here’s the short version: no major UK network includes Isle of Man numbers in your allowance. Calls to 01624 landlines and 07624 mobiles are charged on top of your plan, at rates that range from about 25p to 66p a minute depending on who you’re with.
Isle of Man call costs by network
Per-minute cost to call Isle of Man landlines and mobiles from the UK, on a standard Pay Monthly plan:

Pay As You Go rates differ — for example EE is around 18p/min, while O2 is 55p/min and Vodafone around 66p/min. MVNOs (giffgaff, Tesco Mobile, Smarty, Voxi, Sky Mobile and the like) treat the Island the same way — out of bundle — usually at rates similar to the network they run on.

Why isn’t it in my allowance?
Because the Isle of Man is a Crown Dependency, not part of the UK — and the networks treat it as a separate, international-style destination. So even though Manx numbers look like ordinary UK ones, calls to them sit outside your inclusive minutes. We go into the detail in why calls to the Isle of Man are so expensive.
What that costs you in practice
Say you call home for 8 minutes a day — about 240 minutes a month:
- On EE at 25p/min: ~£60/month
- On Vodafone at ~55p/min: ~£132/month
- On O2 at 65p/min: ~£156/month
All on top of the plan you already pay for.
How to pay 3p/min instead
