How can you offer cheap calls to the Isle of Man?
Instead of dialling 01624 or 07624 directly, you ring a local UK number we give you — so the call is “in bundle” with your UK mobile provider. We then route it on to the Island over our own network at a fraction of what UK mobile networks charge, so you pay just 3p/min to landlines and 6p/min to mobiles.
How does billing work?
It’s pay as you go. You top up credit (from £10), and calls are deducted at 3p/min for Manx landlines and 6p/min for Manx mobiles. A £1/month service charge keeps your number active. You can top up any time, or turn on auto top-up so you never run out mid-call.
Do I have to change my mobile provider?
No. You ring your PhoneMann Number from any UK network — nothing changes about your existing mobile plan.
Can I call more than one Isle of Man number?
Each PhoneMann Number forwards to one Isle of Man number at a time, but you can change which number it rings yourself — landline or mobile — any time from your account dashboard, in seconds. If you regularly call several Isle of Man numbers and want them all live at once, just add a PhoneMann Number for each.
Does my credit expire?
Your credit stays on your account while it’s active. The £1/month service charge is taken from it to keep your number live. If your balance runs out and isn’t topped up, your number is eventually released.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time — there’s no contract. You can close your account yourself from your dashboard; your number stops and is released. Any remaining credit is non-refundable.
Why is it so expensive to ring the Isle of Man?
The Isle of Man is a Crown Dependency, so UK mobile providers treat calls to Manx landlines and mobiles much like international calls — leaving them out of bundle and charging upwards of 65p per minute.
